AI Visibility Checker

Ask a question your customers ask. See whether your brand is mentioned and your website is cited in one live AI answer.

One live answer. No account required.

See whether AI answers include your brand

Enter your brand, website and a question a customer might ask before choosing a product or service. The checker returns one current answer, whether your brand name appears, and whether the answer cites your website.

Use a specific question such as “Which tools help a small business track AI citations?” or “What should I look for when choosing a patio installer in Denver?” Choose a question that fits your business. Do not enter confidential information: the question is sent to the answer provider.

Read the answer and its sources

A mention and a citation are different signals. Your brand can appear in the answer without a link to your site. A source can also be retrieved without being cited. This checker counts only source references that the answer actually uses.

The result is a sample, not a score or a promise of traffic. Review the answer to understand the context of a mention, and use the source links to inspect what was cited.

Track changes over time

A single check helps you explore a question. Connect your site to SEOGrove to monitor your brand each week and review changes alongside your content and search performance.

Frequently asked questions

What does this AI visibility checker check?

It sends your question to the Perplexity Agent API using GPT-6 Luna with web search, then checks that answer for your brand name and numbered citations to your website. Your brand and website are used for matching, not added to the question.

Does it check ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and every other engine?

No. This free check samples one answer through the Perplexity Agent API. It does not measure ChatGPT's app, Google AI Overviews or overall AI visibility. SEOGrove's signed-in monitoring covers the engines listed in your dashboard.

How many free checks can I run?

You can run two checks per IP address per UTC day, subject to a shared limit of 20 checks per day. Incomplete or failed attempts can use a check because a provider request may already have started.

What counts as a citation?

The answer must include a numbered reference that matches a returned source URL on your domain or one of its subdomains. A retrieved page that is not referenced does not count as a citation. Lookalike domains do not count.

Does no mention mean my brand is invisible?

No. It means your brand name did not appear in this answer to this question. Results vary by question, model and time. Try a customer discovery question without your brand name for a more useful sample.
